Something that put a smile on my face today.

It’s always good to be a witness to people’s dreams coming true. I wasn’t even looking for this on YouTube (I was looking to sing a Madonna song before I go to sleep), but I’m glad I did.

Well, now it’s time to sing that Madonna song. Luckily for you, you won’t be seeing it on YouTube, because that would be, as per Lea Salonga, “really, really, really, not so great.”

À demain!

A little update: Material World was the lucky Madonna song that got my attention! I’m going to make it a habit to sing before I sleep.

Months later

Many people are right, after all (including the brilliant Ollin who said so in his comment on my previous post); it’s infinitely more productive not making new year’s resolutions. Making them presupposes that I am dysfunctional and need to be fixed. But if someone comes up to me and says that to my face, let’s just say, he/she’ll get what’s coming to him/her.

Assuming I can kick that high, of course.

The thing is, I’m not perfect, but I’m not dysfunctional either. I’m an old rotary telephone that still does what it’s supposed to do, which is, as always (not play Angry Birds but), get a message across. I’m not sure what my message is yet, but I have to believe that there’s a message, and that’s what I’m going for.

So yeah, forget resolutions. (I don’t want to be kicked in the butt by myself.) I’m here to just be.
